Hi my name is George and I am the owner and founder of Hunter Dental Group. With over 35 years of experience I have become the familiar face of our dental practices throughout the Hunter Valley. With attention to detail I strive to give my patients the most comfortable and friendly environment possible while looking after their individual needs. Covering all aspects of general dentistry from check-ups through to mini dental implants, I also enjoy seeing our patients smiling happily and confidently through cosmetic dental treatments. You will find me at Cessnock, Greenhills or Dungog Dental.

Hi my name is Richard. After studying a Bachelor and Master of Chiropractic, I went on to pursue a career in dentistry and graduated from the University of Sydney with Honours. I have spent a number of years in rural practice in Western Australia and have since moved back to the east and practice from the Greenhills, Greta and Cessnock surgeries. I pride myself on producing careful and meticulous work. I have a keen interest in oral surgery, dental implants and restorative dentistry. I also now offer Invisalign Clear Alignment treatment. Above all else, I strive to do my best for patients and always keeps their best interests at heart.
In my spare time I enjoying fishing and maintaining old cars.

I studied Psychology at the University of Sydney, then Dentistry at the University of Melbourne. I first worked for NSW public health and also at a private practice in Sydney before joining Hunter Dental. I’m a perfectionist at heart!! I always strive to be a dentist who is trusted to deliver exceptional quality and conservative dental treatment to all my patients. I’m a strong advocate of promoting oral health education and disease prevention. My job is to equip my patients with everything they need to know to maintain and improve their own oral health and quality of life. I am compassionate about helping patients with special needs, dental phobia and learning disabilities; and I also regularly visit the local aged care facilities with the Hunter Dental team. One of my most memorable experiences was volunteering in Cambodia, and I would love to do it again! Outside of Dentistry, you might catch me singing, playing my ukulele and being in musical theatre!

Hi, my name is David Day and I am one of the dentists at Hunter Dental Group. I grew up in Maitland where I attended local schools and loved playing in local sporting teams. I graduated Bachelor of Oral Health from the University of Newcastle in 2009 working as a hygienist in Maitland and Sydney. I decided to study dentistry where I graduated in 2015 from Charles Sturt University. I worked in Newcastle after graduating before finding my place at Hunter Dental Group. I have an interest in orthodontics where I am hoping to one day specialise, but I am quite happy treating the lovely patient’s I get to see at Hunter Dental Group. My hobbies include going to the gym and spending time with dog, Jesse. As a practitioner, I have a keen interest in aesthetic work and fixed prosthodontics and pride myself on being accommodating of anxious patients.

Hi my name is Margaret. I bring to hunter dental group over 10 years of experience in Dentistry. Taking pleasure in building a strong foundation and relationship with patients and being available to meet their needs as they arise. I particularly enjoy treating children and their families, it is a very important role that children feel safe and are comfortable with the same face they see at the dentist year after year. I have a keen interest in paedodontics (treating children) and minor oral surgery (extractions), however I am experienced in all aspects of dentistry. You will find me at our Dungog clinic.

I strive for excellence in everything that I do and that is reflected in my passion for dentistry.

Hi my name is Brittany Trudgett and I am an Oral Health Therapist seeing patients at the Greta, Dungog and Greenhills Clinics.
I graduated from university in 2017 with distinction and a School award for Commitment to the Profession.
I enjoy spending my time at the beach, stand up paddle boarding and reading. I love to travel and to date have visited almost 30 countries.
I am committed to making my patients feel comfortable and reassured while in clinic, and empowered to embrace positive oral health practices at home. My strengths lie in paediatric and preventative dentistry, and in treatment of Periodontal (Gum) Disease. I am passionate about oral health promotion and education.
I love working with Hunter Dental Group because of the incredible team which are more like family than colleagues.

Hello, I’m Chloe and I’m an Oral Health Therapist! I am committed to fostering positive attitudes to oral health for both children and adults. I regularly participates in hands-on workshops and attend conferences to expand my knowledge and skill set in the dental industry.
I love to travel! I have volunteered in Cambodia and Timor, providing basic Dentistry and oral health education to rural communities. Locally, I visit preschools and primary schools offering fun and engaging talks on Oral Health and staying well.
If you are nervous about attending dental appointments or you have been putting off getting your regular check-up and clean, I’m very patient, easy to talk to and gentle. I look forward to helping you improve your oral health and overall wellbeing.

Over time I have seen the business grow from a one man , one clinic operation to over 20 staff members across 4 clinics.
I am a wife as well as a proud mother of two boys and love family occasions and frequent holidays.

My name is Tegan and I started working with Hunter Dental Group as a dental nurse when I was 16. I have been apart of our dental family here for 6 years and have since become practice manager. I completed my certificate III in dental assisting across my first year of working and always have many great opportunities arise to further my skills and knowledge in my roles. I love working as a team who all harmonise and strive to keep our patients comfortable and happy throughout their whole time with us. Outside of work I enjoy spending quality time with my family/friends, painting and gardening. I also love to travel and have a goal to see a new country each year. You will usually see my face at our Cessnock surgery although I do travel around all of our surgeries and love meeting new patients!

Hi my name is Cassie, I am a mother of 2 , Lochlan aged 16 and Emelia aged 9.
After finishing high school in 2001 I started my first job as a receptionist at an interstate livestock transport company located in Rutherford.
During my 17 year career with the family owned business I made my way up the ladder to become the office/accounts and payroll manager of over 30 staff.
I am new to the dental industry and am enjoying the challenge of learning on the run and being outside of my comfort zone.
My favourite part of my job is seeing our nervous and anxious patients of all ages leave our treatment room smiling. It makes me feel really proud to be part of a team that is so focused on holistic patient care.
On my weekends I enjoy spectating and participating in several different horse sports with friends and family.

After purchasing my first home in Newcastle and adopting a beautiful Greyhound with my partner Brent, I have continued to travel to Dungog every Tuesday to work in my home town, where I know and love. I am currently taking part in a certificate III in dental assisting, and learning all aspects of dental assisting. My name is Melissa Pantalone. I have worked for Hunter Dental Group for just over 10 years. I am one of our qualified dental nurses with a certificate III in Dental Assisting, which I completed in 2010 at Hunter TAFE. I have a broad knowledge of all dental areas within our practice. I can be found in the surgery assisting side by side with one of our dentist or oral health therapist, on the reception desk answering the telephone or greeting our patients with a Canadian accent. You can also even find me in our dental laboratory making mouth guards, night splints or whitening trays.
Away from work, I am a busy Mum to an even busier three year old boy. I thoroughly enjoy baking delicious treats with my Kitchenaid mixer. I have a wide range love of music from country to classical and I have a crazy love obsession with YouTube medical surgical procedures.

If I am not at work I am out & about exploring new places with my partner or spending my spare time with my family.
Hi, I’m Narelle and I have been working with Hunter Dental Group for over 17 wonderful years, with reception being my main position within the practice. I love working in my home town, greeting our lovely patients each day.
I live on a cattle property with my husband Jeffrey and have a wonderful family including my eldest daughter Jodie and her partner Beth, my second daughter Ashlee and her partner Brent, my son Daniel, and of course our fur baby Harry.
My name is Sally Kirk, I am a receptionist at Hunter Dental Group. In 2015 I left the Hunter Valley and moved to Gunnedah. Prior to leaving I worked with Dr Patience for 8 years, since recently moving back I work 1-2 days at the Cessnock Surgery. I am a mother of one, a little girl Macy and In my spare time I love spending quality time with my family and friends. I enjoy being outdoors in my spare time. As a receptionist my goal is to welcome new and existing patients with a friendly smile and always do my best to assure they are comfortable also they are happy with their visit.
My name is Sandra and I am one of the Receptionists at Hunter Dental Group, mainly working at our Cessnock Surgery. I commenced work at HDG mid 2017, so this makes me relatively new to the Dental Industry, having previously worked in the Banking then Hospitality sectors. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and pets. I am a mother of 2 adult children and 2 fur babies. I enjoy listening to music, attending concerts and fermenting foods and drinks. I really enjoy my job at HDG. Being the Receptionist, I get to meet a wide variety of people on a daily basis. The team at HDG are also a great bunch of people to work with.
I enjoy my work and have been in the dental field for just over 11 years. My partner and I love working Around the house at our newly built home, I have a love for homewares and enjoy fishing.
